मूर्च्छितस्यातिभीतस्य श्रान्तस्य तृषितस्य च | न वहन्ति सिरा विद्धास्तथाऽनुत्थितयन्त्रिताः ||१३||
The arteries do not carry fluid in the case of a person who is fainted, excessively frightened, exhausted, or thirsty; thus, they remain unaffected by the inserted instruments.

जो व्यक्ति मूर्च्छित, अत्यधिक भयभीत, श्रान्त या तृषित होता है, उसकी सिराएं विद्ध होने पर भी द्रव नहीं ले जातीं; इस प्रकार, वे यन्त्रित नहीं होतीं।
