यथा कुसुम्भपुष्पेभ्यः पूर्वं स्रवति पीतिका | तथा सिरासु विद्धासु दुष्टमग्रे प्रवर्तते ||१२||

Just as yellowish liquid flows from the flowers of the Kusumbha plant, similarly, when the arteries are pierced, the harmful substance begins to flow from the front.

english translation

जैसे कुसुम्भ के फूलों से पीतिका निकलती है, उसी तरह, जब सिराओं को विद्ध किया जाता है, तब दुष्ट पदार्थ अग्रभाग से बहने लगता है।
