रुजाभिभूतं तु ततः शरीरं प्रलीयते नश्यति चास्य सञ्ज्ञा । अतो हि शल्यं विनिहर्तुमिच्छन्मर्माणि यत्नेन परीक्ष्य कर्षेत् ॥२०॥
When the body is overwhelmed by pain, it becomes weak and loses its consciousness. Therefore, one should carefully examine the marmas in order to remove the splinters.

जब शरीर पीड़ा से अभिभूत होता है, तो यह दुर्बल हो जाता है और अपनी चेतना खो देता है। इसलिए, शल्य को निकालने के लिए मर्मों का सावधानीपूर्वक परीक्षण करना चाहिए।
