The substance known as 'Garbha' (fetus) is that which is situated in the womb and is formed from the essence of semen and blood, surrounded by the nature of the self. When it is endowed with consciousness, the Vayu (air) separates it, Tejas (fire) digests it, Apah (water) moistens it, Prithvi (earth) supports it, and Akasha (space) expands it; thus, when it is developed, it attains the designation of 'Sharira' (body) due to being endowed with limbs like the hands, feet, tongue, nose, ears, and buttocks. This body consists of six parts: four branches, the middle one, the fifth one, and the sixth one is the head.
