These joints are of eight types: Korolu, Ukhalas, Samudga, Prataratunnas, Sevani, Vayasatundas, Mandalas of Shankhavarta. The joints of the fingers, wrists, ankles, and knees are known as Koras, while the ones in the armpits, on the ten fingers, are called Uluukhalas. The joints of the shoulder, hips, buttocks, and the back of the neck are termed Samudgas, and those in the neck and head, particularly the joints of the neck and the skull, are known as Tunnasevanis. The Vayasatundas are located both above and below the thighs. The Mandalas are situated in the throat, heart, and eye channels, while the Shankhavartas are found in the auricles of the ears. The forms of these joints are typically explained by their names.
