जपव्रतब्रह्मचर्यहोमाध्ययनसेविनम् । ज्ञानविज्ञानसम्पन्नमृषिसत्त्वं नरं विदुः ॥८७॥
A person who engages in chanting, vows, celibacy, sacrificial rites, study, and service, and is endowed with both knowledge and wisdom, is considered to possess the qualities of a sage.
