भवन्ति चात्र- देवताब्राह्मणपराः शौचाचारहिते रताः । महागुणान् प्रसूयन्ते विपरीतास्तु निर्गुणान् ॥३५॥
Here, those who are devoted to the gods and Brahmins, who are engaged in pure conduct and virtuous activities, give birth to children with great qualities. Conversely, those who are engaged in negative or unvirtuous behaviors give birth to children lacking in qualities.
