अथ गर्भिणीं व्याध्युत्पत्तावत्यये छर्दयेन्मधुराम्लेनान्नोपहितेनानुलोमयेच्च, संशमनीयं च मृदु विदध्यादन्नपानयोः, अश्नीयाच्च मृदुवीर्यं मधुरप्रायं गर्भाविरुद्धं च, गर्भाविरुद्धाश्च क्रिया यथायोगं विदधीत मृदुप्रायाः ॥६७॥
"Then, if the pregnant woman experiences disease or complications, she should consume sweet and sour food, but not food that is difficult to digest. Soft food should be given for her, as it is gentle in strength and mostly sweet. Additionally, actions that are contrary to the pregnancy should be avoided according to their appropriateness."
