अतिवृद्धायां दीर्घरोगिण्यामन्येन वा विकारेणोपसृष्टायां गर्भाधानं नैव कुर्वीत । पुरुषस्याप्येवंविधस्य त एव दोषाः सम्भवन्ति ॥५६॥
"In the case of a very old woman, or one suffering from a long-term illness, or if she is afflicted by another disease, conception should not be performed. Similar defects will also arise in the case of a man with such conditions."

"यदि कोई अत्यधिक वृद्ध महिला हो, या दीर्घकालीन रोग से पीड़ित हो, या किसी अन्य रोग से ग्रस्त हो, तो गर्भाधान नहीं करना चाहिए। ऐसी स्थितियों में पुरुष के मामले में भी समान दोष उत्पन्न होंगे।"
