Then, the woman who has given birth should be treated with a decoction of Vata-reducing herbs. On that day, she should consume a warm mixture of Pippali, Pippali root, and Chitraka, along with the powder of Shringavera mixed with jaggery and water. This should be done for two or three nights if there is any remaining dosha. When she is purified, she should drink a decoction made from Vidarigandha or Yavagu three times for three nights. Then, considering her strength and fire, she should be fed Shali rice cooked with Jangala rasa. Following this procedure, she will be in a purified state and will no longer be referred to as one who has given birth after half a month of proper care, as some say it is due to the sight of a disease.
