सर्वाङ्गप्रग्रहस्तीव्रो हृदि शूलश्च दारुणः | श्वासो यकृति तृष्णा च पिपासाक्लोमजेऽधिका ||२२||

In cases of abscess affecting the entire body, there is intense stiffness, severe pain in the heart, and symptoms like breathlessness, excessive thirst, and severe pain near the liver and spleen.

जब पूरे शरीर में विद्रधि होती है, तो तीव्र अकड़न, हृदय में तीव्र शूल, श्वास की तकलीफ, अत्यधिक प्यास और यकृत व प्लीहा के पास अत्यधिक दर्द होता है।

Whether the abscess is unripe, ripe, large, or otherwise, and especially if it originates in vital parts, it is considered difficult to treat.

चाहे विद्रधि कच्चा हो, पक्का हो, बड़ा हो या न हो, और यदि यह मर्म स्थानों में उत्पन्न हो, तो इसे कठिन उपचार वाला माना जाता है।

नाभेरुपरिजाः पक्वा यान्त्यूर्ध्वमितरे त्वधः | जीवत्यधो निःस्रुतेषु स्रुतेषूर्ध्वं न जीवति ||२४||

Abscesses forming above the navel, if ripened, spread upwards, while others spread downwards. If the discharge flows downward, the person survives, but if it flows upward, survival is unlikely.

नाभि के ऊपर बनने वाले पक्व विद्रधि ऊपर की ओर फैलते हैं, जबकि अन्य नीचे की ओर फैलते हैं। यदि स्राव नीचे की ओर होता है, तो व्यक्ति जीवित रहता है, लेकिन यदि स्राव ऊपर की ओर होता है, तो जीवित रहना संभव नहीं होता।

हृन्नाभिबस्तिवर्ज्या ये तेषु भिन्नेषु बाह्यतः | जीवेत् कदाचित् पुरुषो नेतरेषु कदाचन ||२५||

If the external abscesses, except those located in the heart, navel, and bladder, rupture, a person may survive occasionally. However, in abscesses in those areas, survival is never possible.

हृदय, नाभि और मूत्राशय को छोड़कर अन्य बाहरी विद्रधि के फूटने पर व्यक्ति कभी-कभी जीवित रह सकता है। लेकिन इन स्थानों पर बने विद्रधि के फूटने पर जीवित रहना कभी संभव नहीं होता।
