सकीलकठिनो ग्रन्थिर्निम्नमध्योन्नतोऽपि वा । कोलमात्रः सरुक् स्रावी जायते कदरस्तु सः ॥३१॥
A hard lump forms with thorns or spines embedded, either concave in the middle or raised, the size of a jujube fruit, painful and oozing—this is known as "Kadara."

Pitta, aggravated by Vata, affects the hair follicles and displaces the hair. As a result, Kapha mixed with blood begins to flow from those areas.

It obstructs the hair follicles, preventing the growth of new hair. This condition is known as "Indralupta" or baldness, and it is recognized as a painful ailment.
