अरिष्टामपि मन्त्रैश्च बध्नीयान्मन्त्रकोविदः | सा तु रज्ज्वादिभिर्बद्धा विषप्रतिकरी मता ||८||
One well-versed in mantras should tie a protective amulet (arishṭa) over the bite site, invoking specific mantras. When bound with strings or other materials, this amulet is believed to act as an antidote to the poison.
