देवब्रह्मर्षिभिः प्रोक्ता मन्त्राः सत्यतपोमयाः | भवन्ति नान्यथा क्षिप्रं विषं हन्युः सुदुस्तरम् ||९||
Mantras composed by gods, Brahmins, and sages, imbued with truth and austerity, are effective in combating even the most formidable poison. Without these qualities, however, they do not yield swift results in destroying poison.

देवताओं, ब्राह्मणों और ऋषियों द्वारा रचित सत्य और तपस्या से ओतप्रोत मंत्र सबसे भयंकर विष का भी नाश करने में कारगर होते हैं। लेकिन इन गुणों के बिना, वे विष को नष्ट करने में शीघ्र परिणाम नहीं देते।
