तृतीये शोधितं तीक्ष्णैर्यवागूं पाययेद्धिताम् | चतुर्थे पञ्चमे चापि दर्वीकरवदाचरेत् ||२६||

In the third stage, the physician should administer the purified and sharp barley gruel (yavāgū). In the fourth and fifth stages, the physician should follow the procedure similar to that of the darbīkara (a plant known for its medicinal properties).

In the sixth stage, the physician should administer a sweet medicinal concoction (madhurogada), which is beneficial. In the seventh stage, a paste (avapīḍa) should be applied to the skin, which is effective in neutralizing the poison.
