समन्तादगदैर्दंशं प्रच्छयित्वा प्रलेपयेत् । चन्दनोशीरयुक्तेन वारिणा परिषेचयेत् ॥१६॥
The wound caused by the bite should be gently cleansed from all sides. Then, it should be smeared with a paste of sandalwood and cooled with water to cleanse and soothe the area.
