क्षत्रियाः स्निग्धवर्णास्तु पन्नगा भृशकोपनाः । सूर्यचन्द्राकृतिच्छत्रलक्ष्म तेषां तथाऽम्बुजम् ॥२६॥
The serpents with a smooth complexion, who are of the Kshatriya class, and possess a fierce temperament, resemble the shapes of the Sun and Moon, as well as the crest of a royal umbrella. They are also likened to the lotus in their appearance.

चिकने रंग वाले, क्षत्रिय वर्ग के और उग्र स्वभाव वाले नाग सूर्य और चंद्रमा के आकार के साथ-साथ एक शाही छतरी के शिखर के समान होते हैं। उनके स्वरूप की तुलना कमल से भी की जाती है।
