कृष्णा वज्रनिभा ये च लोहिता वर्णतस्तथा | धूम्राः पारावताभाश्च वैश्यास्ते पन्नगाः स्मृताः ||२७||
The serpents that are black like a thunderbolt, and those that are red in color, as well as the smoky ones resembling the color of the parrot, are considered to belong to the Vaishya class.

जो नाग वज्र के समान काले, लाल रंग के तथा तोते के रंग के समान धुएँ के रंग के होते हैं, वे वैश्य वर्ग के माने जाते हैं।
