मज्जन्ति ये चात्र नराश्वनागास्ते छर्दिमोहज्वरदाहशोफान् । ऋ(ग)च्छन्ति तेषामपहृत्य दोषान् दुष्टं जलं शोधयितुं यतेत ॥८॥
Those men, horses, and elephants who immerse in such poisoned water suffer from vomiting, confusion, fever, burning sensations, and swelling. In such cases, one should attempt to purify the contaminated water by removing its harmful qualities.
english translation
जो मनुष्य, घोड़े और हाथी ऐसे जहरीले पानी में डूबते हैं वे उल्टी, भ्रम, बुखार, जलन और सूजन से पीड़ित होते हैं। ऐसे में दूषित जल के हानिकारक गुणों को दूर कर उसे शुद्ध करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।
