धूमेऽनिले वा विषसम्प्रयुक्ते खगाः श्रमार्ताः प्रपतन्ति भूमौ | कासप्रतिश्यायशिरोरुजश्च भवन्ति तीव्रा नयनामयाश्च ||१६||

When there is smoke, air, or poison in the environment, birds become exhausted and fall to the ground. They experience severe coughing, head pain, and intense eye diseases.

The poison from lac, turmeric, and the fearsome poison of the year, as well as the Kila (a type of poisonous plant), twisted Kushta (leprosy), and Priyangu (a medicinal plant), when used in fire, along with smoke and air, can purify and eliminate the toxins.

In this verse, it is stated that the creation of this world is the result of the Supreme Creator (Brahman) through His divine will. However, the demon named Kaitabha, full of arrogance, tried to obstruct this creation and caused a disturbance.

This verse describes how, from the angry mouth of the Supreme Being, Brahman's intense anger took a physical form and became a terrifying entity. This anger, manifesting as a fierce being, fell down to the earth, embodying extreme devastation.

The verse describes how the Supreme Being, in the form of an immensely powerful and roaring entity, burned the demon with a fierce and destructive energy. After defeating the demon, this energy grew even more powerful, becoming extraordinarily intense and remarkable.
