आदीप्य तज्जातमसीं गृहीत्वा तां चापि पथ्याम्भसि भावयित्वा । सम्प्रच्छितं तद्बहुशः किलासं तैलेन सिक्तं कटुना प्रयाति ॥२४॥

After igniting it, take the soot that forms, and soak it in decoction prepared from pathya (haritaki) water. Apply this mixture repeatedly to the patches of leucoderma, and along with oil and pungent substances, it will help in treating the condition.

english translation

इसे जलाने के बाद, जो मसी (काजल) उत्पन्न हो, उसे पथ्य (हरितकी) के जल में भिगो लें। इस मिश्रण को बार-बार श्वित्र (सफेद दाग) पर लगाएं, और तैल एवं कटु (तीखे) पदार्थों के साथ इसका प्रयोग करने से यह रोग का उपचार करता है।
