After that, with strength and assurance, the patient should be seated firmly on a mat, with their body upright, knees bent, and clothing properly arranged. The limbs should be firmly bound with a thread or cloth. Then, with a firm grip, the physician should press the left side of the abdomen, below the navel, with their fist, while the patient is bending forward, until they feel the sensation of stones in the abdomen.
