sanskrit

Taking two or five roots of dantī, chitraka, and other herbs in equal proportions, they should be boiled in four times the quantity of water. After boiling, the remaining decoction should be collected and mixed with equal parts of cold jaggery and kept in a ghee container. This should be set aside for a month. In the morning, a dose should be taken regularly. This will prevent hemorrhoids, diarrhea, jaundice, and help in alleviating indigestion; it will also enhance digestive fire.
