Its early symptoms include burning sensations, itching, swelling, stiffness, headaches, and muscle weakness. It suddenly causes deep disorders in the hands, soles, fingers, and ankles. In cases where there are insurmountable disorders, the signs are distinctly visible; those who are resistant to treatment have their symptoms elaborated upon; and if left untreated, they become disabled.
