रसौदनस्तेन शस्तस्तदहश्चानुवासनम् । पश्चादग्निबलं मत्वा पवनस्य च चेष्टितम् ॥१६॥

The rasāudana (liquid food) should be administered first, and then the anuvāsana (retentive enema) should be given. After that, considering the strength of the digestive fire and the movements of vāta (wind), the treatment should proceed.

सबसे पहले रसौदन (तरल भोजन) दिया जाना चाहिए, फिर अनुवासन (अवरोधक एनिमा) दिया जाना चाहिए। उसके बाद, पाचन अग्नि की शक्ति और वात की गति को ध्यान में रखते हुए उपचार आगे बढ़ाना चाहिए।
