प्रकृष्टकर्णिके रक्तं गुदमर्मप्रपीडनात् । क्षरत्यत्रापि पित्तघ्नो विधिर्बस्तिश्च पिच्छिलः ॥८॥

If the Karnika (nozzle) is well-formed and causes bleeding by pressing on the Guda-marma (the vital point at the anus), a Pitta-subduing remedy should be administered, and the Vasti (enema) should be of a Picchila (slimy) nature.

english translation

यदि कर्णिका (नोजल) अच्छी तरह से बना हुआ है और गुदा-मर्म (गुदा में महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु) पर दबाव डालने से रक्तस्राव होता है, तो पित्त-वशीकरण औषधि दी जानी चाहिए, और वस्ति (एनीमा) पिच्छिला (चिपचिपा) प्रकृति का होना चाहिए।
