सप्तादौ सर्परूपिण्यो ह्यौषध्यो याः प्रकीर्तिताः । तासामुद्धरणं कार्यं मन्त्रेणानेन सर्वदा ॥२६॥
The first seven of the all-healing Oshadi plants enumerated above should be culled by reciting the following Mantra.

ऊपर बताए गए सर्व-चिकित्सा ओषादि पौधों में से प्रथम सात को निम्नलिखित मंत्र का जाप करके नष्ट कर देना चाहिए।

महेन्द्ररामकृष्णानां ब्राह्मणानां गवामपि । तपसा तेजसा वाऽपि प्रशाम्यध्वं शिवाय वै ॥२७॥
“We appease thee with the holy energy and dignity of Mahendra, Rama, Krishna and of the Brahmanas and of cows. Exert your beneficial virtues for the good of mankind”.

"हम आपको महेंद्र, राम, कृष्ण, ब्राह्मणों और गायों की पवित्र शक्ति और गरिमा से प्रसन्न करते हैं। मानवता की भलाई के लिए अपने लाभकारी गुणों का प्रयोग करें।"

मन्त्रेणानेन मतिमान् सर्वा एवाभिमन्त्रयेत् । अश्रद्दधानैरलसैः कृतघ्नैः पापकर्मभिः ॥२८॥
With this mantra, a wise person should invoke all. Those who are skeptical, lazy, ungrateful, and engaged in sinful deeds should not be included.

इस मंत्र से बुद्धिमान व्यक्ति को सभी का आह्वान करना चाहिए। इसमें संशयी, आलसी, कृतघ्न तथा पाप कर्मों में लिप्त लोगों को शामिल नहीं करना चाहिए।

नैवासादयितुं शक्याः सोमाः सोमसमास्तथा । पीतावशेषममृतं देवैर्ब्रह्मपुरोगमैः ॥२९॥
The moon cannot be subdued; the same is true for the moon-like medicinal herbs. The leftover nectar consumed by the gods comes from the path of Brahman.

चंद्रमा को वश में नहीं किया जा सकता; यही बात चंद्रमा जैसी औषधियों के लिए भी सत्य है। देवताओं द्वारा पीए गए बचे हुए अमृत का स्रोत ब्रह्म मार्ग है।

निहितं सोमवीर्यासु सोमे चाप्योषधीपतौ । देवसुन्दे ह्रदवरे तथा सिन्धौ महानदे ॥३०॥
The moon-like medicinal herbs are placed in the abode of the moon, as well as in the great rivers and in the beautiful lakes among the gods.

चंद्रमा के समान औषधीय जड़ी-बूटियां चंद्रमा के निवास के साथ-साथ महान नदियों और देवताओं के सुंदर झीलों में भी रखी जाती हैं।
