In the evening, having consumed (the elixir) and having calmed the mind, one should lie down on a bed of kusa grass, covered with a black deerskin. Feeling thirsty, one may drink a little cold water or a medicinal alkaline substance. Then, upon rising in the morning, with a calm mind and having performed auspicious rituals, one should touch a cow. After that, as a result of an aged (old) soma, there may arise a vomiting, and from that, the mixture of blood and worms is expelled. Then, after this vomiting, one should distribute the cold milk obtained from the cooling process, and on the third day, the mixture with worms should be discarded, and one should be freed from all impurities, achieving a pure body. After this, in the evening, after bathing, one should again distribute the milk as before, and on the bed covered with linen, one should lie down. Following this, on the fourth day, he may experience a headache, and worms may leave from all over the body, and on that day, covered with dust, one should lie down. Then, in the evening, as before, one should distribute milk, and thus it should continue for the fifth and sixth days, during which the milk should be given at both times. Then, on the seventh day, one becomes emaciated and devoid of flesh, only breathing due to the soma intake. Thereafter, the individual should consume milk with rice flour, and the nails will turn to the color of rubies, shining brightly, firm, and having characteristics. An auspicious pot made of gold, shining like the moon, is adorned with a lunar image. By using it, one obtains eightfold wealth and enters the presence of the divine Ishana. The rest can be spread on a vessel made of copper, clay, red, or leather; it should not be offered to Shudras. Thus, the Soma should be consumed by the three varnas. Then, on the fourth month, during the full moon in a pure place, after worshipping the Brahmins, one should exit auspiciously, as stated.

sanskrit
An auspicious pot made of gold, shining like the moon, is adorned with a lunar image. By using it, one obtains eightfold wealth and enters the presence of the divine Ishana. The rest can be spread on a vessel made of copper, clay, red, or leather; it should not be offered to Shudras. Thus, the Soma should be consumed by the three varnas. Then, on the fourth month, during the full moon in a pure place, after worshipping the Brahmins, one should exit auspiciously, as stated.
