भद्राणां षष्टिवर्षाणां प्रस्रुतानामनेकधा । कुञ्जराणां सहस्रस्य बलं समधिगच्छति ॥१६॥
One who consumes Soma attains the strength of a thousand elephants over a span of sixty blessed years.

He who consumes Soma gains unrestricted movement and can reach places like the Milk Ocean, the abode of Indra, and the northern Kurus, wherever he wishes to go.

जो सोम का सेवन करता है, उसे अबाध गति प्राप्त हो जाती है और वह क्षीरसागर, इंद्र के निवासस्थान तथा उत्तरी कौरवों जैसे स्थानों पर, जहां भी वह जाना चाहता है, पहुंच सकता है।

With beauty like that of Kandarpa (the god of love) and radiance like the moon, he, with his great splendor, brings joy to the minds of all beings.

वह कंदर्प (प्रेम के देवता) के समान सुन्दरता और चन्द्रमा के समान तेज से समस्त प्राणियों के मन को आनन्दित करता है।

kandarpa iva rUpeNa kAntyA candra ivAparaH । prahlAdayati bhUtAnAM manAMsi sa mahAdyutiH ॥18॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसाङ्गोपाङ्गांश्च निखिलान् वेदान् विन्दति तत्त्वतः । चरत्यमोघसङ्कल्पो देववच्चाखिलं जगत् ॥१९॥
He gains a true understanding of all the Vedas, with all their sections and subsections, and moves about with unfailing intent, encompassing the entire universe like a divine being.

वह सभी वेदों का, उनके सभी भागों और उपभागों सहित, सच्चा ज्ञान प्राप्त कर लेता है, और एक दिव्य प्राणी की भांति सम्पूर्ण ब्रह्माण्ड को व्याप्त करते हुए, अविचल इरादे के साथ विचरण करता है।

All varieties of Soma have fifteen leaves each, which emerge and fall during both the bright (waxing) and dark (waning) phases.
