लाक्षा रोध्रं द्वे हरिद्रे शिलाले कुष्ठं नागं गैरिका वर्णकाश्च । मञ्जिष्ठोग्रा स्यात् सुराष्ट्रोद्भवा च पत्तङ्गं वै रोचना चाञ्जनं च ॥३८॥

Lac, two types of resin, yellow myrobalan, stone, leprosy, snake, earth, and various shades of color; madder should be strong, and it is derived from Suraashtra; the insect, as well as the coloring substance and collyrium, should be included.

english translation

लाख, दो प्रकार की राल, पीली हरड़, पत्थर, कुष्ठ, साँप, पृथ्वी और विभिन्न प्रकार के रंग; पागल मजबूत होना चाहिए, और यह सुराष्ट्र से लिया गया है; कीट, साथ ही रंगने वाला पदार्थ और कोलीरियम भी शामिल होना चाहिए।
