सम्यग्दग्धं च विज्ञाय मधुसर्पिः प्रयोजयेत् । शुद्धे च रोपणं दद्यात् कल्कं तैलं हितं च यत् ॥५१॥
After confirming that it has been properly cauterized, one should apply honey and clarified butter. Once it is purified, a paste and the beneficial oil should be applied.

One should eat rice cooked in milk along with boiled nagara. Trivṛta should also be consumed. Fire is advised for burning.
