मनःशिलासमैश्चूर्णं व्रणवीसर्पनाशनम् । गुन्द्रां दग्ध्वा कृतं भस्म हरितालं मनःशिला ॥४६॥
The powder of Manahshila is effective against wounds and creeping diseases. The ash created from burning Gundra and Haritala is known as Manahshila.

This destroys upadamsha, like Indra's thunderbolt striking a tree. In both cases of upadamsha, having rejected this, one should perform the treatment.

The physician should carry out the treatment for a malignant wound and discard any swollen penis. Afterwards, the remaining part should be cauterized with the red-colored fruit of Jambū.
