निपात्य शस्त्रं तिलनागदन्तीयष्ट्याह्वकल्कैः परिपूरयेत्ताम् । प्रक्षालने चापि ससोमनिम्बा निशा प्रयोज्या कुशलेन नित्यम् ॥२१॥
After making an incision with a sharp instrument, the wound should be filled with the paste of sesame, nagadanti, and yashtimadhu. For washing the wound, a decoction of soma, neem, and nisha should be used daily by the skilled physician.

तीक्ष्ण शस्त्र से चीरा लगाने के बाद घाव को तिल, नागदन्ती और यष्टिमधु के पेस्ट से भरना चाहिए। घाव को धोने के लिए कुशल चिकित्सक द्वारा प्रतिदिन सोम, नीम और निशा का प्रयोग करना चाहिए।

Ghee, prepared with shyama, tribhundi, trifala, haridra, rodhra, and bark of trees, along with milk, when applied to the wound, can stop even the most deep-seated conditions.

A sinus caused by kapha should be treated with a poultice made from kulattha, siddharthaka, shaktu, and kinva. Once it has softened, and its course has been determined, it should be completely excised with a surgical instrument.

कफजन्य नाड़ी का उपचार कुलत्थ, सिद्धार्थक, शक्ति और किन्वा से बने उपनाह से करना चाहिए। जब यह नरम हो जाए और इसकी गतिक्रिया का पता लग जाए, तो इसे शस्त्र से पूरी तरह निकाल देना चाहिए।

Now, a mixture of the following should be applied to the wound: tender leaves of lime, til (sesame), and mustards prepared with Surashtra ginger. In washing, the juices of Karanja, Nimba, and the soft fruit of the wild tomato should also be used.
