In the case of a patient with a bound rectum and discharge, after making a patient sweat and applying oil to the lower abdomen, the physician should carefully incise the abdomen, removing four fingerbreadths' worth of tissue and observing the obstruction caused by the rectum. If there is a stone or fecal matter, the physician should use honey and ghee to lubricate the area, placing it back in its proper position and suturing the outer wound of the abdomen. If there is any discharge, the same process should be followed: after extracting the stone, the discharge should be cleaned. Once the cavity is sealed, it should be treated with the teeth of the black ants. If bitten by these ants, one should avoid removing the parts; the incision should then be sutured as before. The physician should perform the reconstruction as described and apply a mixture of licorice and black earth with a bandage. After this, the physician should enter the quiet room and instruct the patient to rest, applying either in an oil or ghee pot or in a milk container.
