दुर्विरेच्या हि मधुमेहिनो भवन्ति मेदोऽभिव्याप्तशरीरत्वात्, तस्मात्तीक्ष्णमेतेषां शोधनं कुर्वीत । पिडकापीडिताः सोपद्रवाः सर्व एव प्रमेहा मूत्रादिमाधुर्ये मधुगन्धसामान्यात् पारिभाषिकीं मधुमेहाख्यां लभन्ते ॥६॥
In patients suffering from Madhu-Meha, due to the excessive accumulation of Medas (fat) in their bodies, they should be treated with strong purgatives. All types of Prameha afflicted with abscesses and associated complications are termed as Madhu-Meha, characterized by the sweetness of urine and other bodily fluids, resembling honey in taste and smell.
