भवन्ति चात्र - दोषोच्छ्रायोपशान्त्यर्थं दोषानद्धस्य देहिनः । अवेक्ष्य दोषं प्राणं च कार्यं स्यादपतर्पणम् ॥१२॥

And it is said here: To alleviate the excessive rise of doshas (bodily humors) in a person, depletion therapy (Apatarpana) should be applied after carefully assessing the doshas and the patient’s vitality.

और यहाँ कहा गया है: दोषों (शरीर के विकारों) की अत्यधिक वृद्धि को शांत करने के लिए, अपतर्पण (दुर्बलता द्वारा उपचार) का उपयोग करना चाहिए, लेकिन पहले दोषों और रोगी की जीवन शक्ति का सावधानीपूर्वक अवलोकन करना आवश्यक है।
