चिकीर्षितं ते किमिदं पतिस्त्वया प्रलम्भितो लोकनमस्कृतो मुनिः । यत्त्वं जराग्रस्तमसत्यसम्मतं विहाय जारं भजसेऽमुमध्वगम् ।। ९-३-२० ।।

sanskrit

O unchaste girl, what is this that you have desired to do? You have cheated the most respectable husband, who is honored by everyone, for I see that because he was old, diseased and therefore unattractive, you have left his company to accept as your husband this young man, who appears to be a beggar from the street. ।। 9-3-20 ।।

english translation

हे दुष्ट लडक़ी, तुमने यह क्या कर दिया? तुमने अपने अत्यन्त सम्माननीय पति को धोखा दिया है क्योंकि मैं देख रहा हूँ कि उसके वृद्ध, रोगग्रस्त तथा अनाकर्षक होने के कारण तुमने उसका साथ छोडक़र इस तरुण पुरुष को अपना पति बनाना चाहा है जो भिक्षुक जैसा प्रतीत होता है। ।। ९-३-२० ।।
