तस्य त्रिभुवनाधीशाः फलदाः फलमिच्छताम् । आत्मानं दर्शयाञ्चक्रुर्माया विष्णुविनिर्मिताः ।। ९-२१-१५ ।।

sanskrit

Demigods like Lord Brahmā and Lord Śiva, who can satisfy all materially ambitious men by giving them the rewards they desire, then manifested their own identities before King Rantideva, for it was they who had presented themselves as the brāhmaṇa, śūdra, caṇḍāla and so on. ।। 9-21-15 ।।

english translation

तत्पश्चात् लोगों को इच्छित फल देकर उनकी सारी भौतिक इच्छाओं को पूरा करने वाले ब्रह्माजी तथा शिवजी जैसे देवताओं ने राजा रन्तिदेव के समक्ष अपना स्वरूप प्रकट किया क्योंकि वे ही ब्राह्मण, शूद्र, चण्डाल इत्यादि के रूप में उनके पास आये थे। ।। ९-२१-१५ ।।
