Srimad Bhagavatam
त्रयस्त्रिंशच्छतं ह्यश्वान् बद्ध्वा विस्मापयन् नृपान् । दौष्यन्तिरत्यगान्मायां देवानां गुरुमाययौ ॥ ९-२०-२७ ॥
Bharata, the son of Mahārāja Duṣmanta, bound thirty-three hundred horses for those sacrifices, and thus he astonished all other kings. He surpassed even the opulence of the demigods, for he achieved the supreme spiritual master, Hari. ॥ 9-20-27 ॥
english translation
महाराज दुष्मन्त के पुत्र भरत ने उन यज्ञों के लिए ३३०० घोड़े बाँधकर अन्य सारे राजाओं को विस्मय में डाल दिया। उसने देवताओं के ऐश्वर्य को भी मात कर दिया क्योंकि उसे परम गुरु हरि प्राप्त हो गये थे। ॥ ९-२०-२७ ॥
