पितर्युपरते सोऽपि चक्रवर्ती महायशाः । महिमा गीयते तस्य हरेरंशभुवो भुवि ।। ९-२०-२३ ।।

sanskrit

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: When Mahārāja Duṣmanta passed away from this earth, his son became the emperor of the world, the proprietor of the seven islands. He is referred to as a partial representation of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in this world. ।। 9-20-23 ।।

english translation

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने कहा : जब महाराज दुष्मन्त इस पृथ्वी से चले गये तो उनका पुत्र सातों द्वीपों का स्वामी चक्रवर्ती राजा बना। वह इस संसार में भगवान् का अंशावतार बतलाया जाता है। ।। ९-२०-२३ ।।

pitaryuparate so'pi cakravartI mahAyazAH | mahimA gIyate tasya hareraMzabhuvo bhuvi || 9-20-23 ||
