यूयं मन्त्रविदो युक्तास्तपसा दग्धकिल्बिषाः । कुतः सङ्कल्पवैषम्यमनृतं विबुधेष्विव ।। ९-१-१८ ।।

sanskrit

You are all self-controlled, well balanced in mind, and aware of the Absolute Truth. And because of austerities and penances you are completely cleansed of all material contamination. Your words, like those of the demigods, are never baffled. Then how is it possible that your determination has failed? ।। 9-1-18 ।।

english translation

तुम सभी संयमित, संतुलित तथा परम सत्य से परिचित हो। तुम सबने अपनी तपस्याओं के द्वारा सारे भौतिक कल्मष से अपने को पूरी तरह स्वच्छ कर लिया है। तुम सबके वचन देवताओं के वचनों की तरह कभी मिथ्या नहीं होते। तो फिर यह कैसे सम्भव हुआ कि तुम सबका संकल्प विफल हो गया? ।। ९-१-१८ ।।
