यस्मिन् यतो यर्हि येन च यस्य यस्माद्यस्मै यथा यदुत यस्त्वपरः परो वा । भावः करोति विकरोति पृथक्स्वभावः सञ्चोदितस्तदखिलं भवतः स्वरूपम् ।। ७-९-२० ।।

My dear Lord, everyone in this material world is under the modes of material nature, being influenced by goodness, passion and ignorance. Everyone — from the greatest personality, Lord Brahmā, down to the small ant — works under the influence of these modes. Therefore everyone in this material world is influenced by Your energy. The cause for which they work, the place where they work, the time when they work, the matter due to which they work, the goal of life they have considered final, and the process for obtaining this goal — all are nothing but manifestations of Your energy. Indeed, since the energy and energetic are identical, all of them are but manifestations of You. ।। 7-9-20 ।।

english translation

हे प्रभु, इस जगत में प्रत्येक व्यक्ति प्रकृति के गुणों—सतो, रजो तथा तमो गुणों के अधीन है। सर्वोच्च व्यक्ति ब्रह्माजी से लेकर एक क्षुद्र चींटी तक सारे प्राणी इन्हीं गुणों के वशीभूत हो कर कार्य करते हैं। अतएव इस जगत में सारे व्यक्ति आपकी शक्ति के वशीभूत हैं। वे जिस कारण से कर्म करते हैं, जिस स्थान में कर्म करते हैं, जिस काल में कर्म करते हैं, जिस पदार्थ के कारण कर्म करते हैं, जिस जीवन-लक्ष्य को उन्होंने अन्तिम मान रखा है तथा इस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने की जो विधि है—ये सभी आपकी शक्ति की अभिव्यक्ति के अतिरिक्त कुछ भी नहीं हैं। निस्सन्देह, शक्ति तथा शक्तिमान के अभिन्न होते हैं, वे सब आपकी ही अभिव्यक्तियाँ हैं। ।। ७-९-२० ।।
