Srimad Bhagavatam
श्रद्धया तत्कथायां च कीर्तनैर्गुणकर्मणाम् । तत्पादाम्बुरुहध्यानात्तल्लिङ्गेक्षार्हणादिभिः ॥ ७-७-३१ ॥
hear the glories of the Lord with faith, glorify the transcendental qualities and activities of the Lord, always meditate on the Lord’s lotus feet, and worship the Deity of the Lord strictly according to the injunctions of the śāstra and guru. ॥ 7-7-31 ॥
english translation
श्रद्धापूर्वक भगवान् के यश का श्रवण करना चाहिए, भगवान् के दिव्य गुणों तथा कार्यकलापों का यशोगान करना चाहिए, सदैव भगवान् के चरणकमलों का ध्यान करना चाहिए तथा शास्त्र एवं गुरु के आदेशानुसार भगवान् के अर्चाविग्रह की पूजा करनी चाहिए। ॥ ७-७-३१ ॥
