प्रह्लाद उवाच श्रवणं कीर्तनं विष्णोः स्मरणं पादसेवनम् । अर्चनं वन्दनं दास्यं सख्यमात्मनिवेदनम् ।। ७-५-२३ ।।

sanskrit

Prahlāda Mahārāja said: Hearing and chanting about the transcendental holy name, form, qualities, paraphernalia and pastimes of Lord Viṣṇu, remembering them, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, offering the Lord respectful worship with sixteen types of paraphernalia, offering prayers to the Lord, becoming His servant, considering the Lord one’s best friend, and surrendering everything unto Him (in other words, serving Him with the body, mind and words) ।। 7-5-23 ।।

english translation

प्रह्लाद महाराज ने कहा : भगवान् विष्णु के दिव्य पवित्र नाम, रूप, साज-सामान तथा लीलाओं के विषय में सुनना तथा कीर्तन करना, उनका स्मरण करना, भगवान् के चरणकमलों की सेवा करना, षोडशोपचार विधि द्वारा भगवान् की सादर पूजा करना, भगवान् से प्रार्थना करना, उनका दास बनना, भगवान् को सर्वश्रेष्ठ मित्र के रूप में मानना तथा उन्हें अपना सर्वस्व न्योछावर करना (अर्थात् मनसा, वाचा, कर्मणा उनकी सेवा करना) ।। ७-५-२३ ।।
