स विजित्य दिशः सर्वा लोकांश्च त्रीन् महासुरः । देवासुरमनुष्येन्द्रान् गन्धर्वगरुडोरगान् ॥ ७-४-५ ॥

sanskrit

Hiraṇyakaśipu became the conqueror of the entire universe. Indeed, that great demon conquered all the planets in the three worlds — upper, middle and lower — including the planets of the human beings, the Gandharvas, the Garuḍas, the great serpents, ॥ 7-4-5 ॥

english translation

हिरण्यकशिपु समग्र ब्रह्माण्ड का विजेता बन गया। इस महान् असुर ने तीनों लोकों—उच्च, मध्य तथा निम्न लोकों को जीत लिया जिसमें मनुष्यों, गन्धर्वों, गरुड़ों, महासर्पों, ॥ ७-४-५ ॥

sa vijitya dizaH sarvA lokAMzca trIn mahAsuraH । devAsuramanuSyendrAn gandharvagaruDoragAn ॥ 7-4-5 ॥
