श्रीनारद उवाच इति दैत्यपतेर्वाक्यं दितिराकर्ण्य सस्नुषा । पुत्रशोकं क्षणात्त्यक्त्वा तत्त्वे चित्तमधारयत् ।। ७-२-६१ ।।

sanskrit

Śrī Nārada Muni continued: Diti, the mother of Hiraṇyakaśipu and Hiraṇyākṣa, heard the instructions of Hiraṇyakaśipu along with her daughter-in-law, Ruṣābhānu, Hiraṇyākṣa’s wife. She then forgot her grief over her son’s death and thus engaged her mind and attention in understanding the real philosophy of life. ।। 7-2-61 ।।

english translation

श्री नारद ने आगे कहा : हिरण्यकशिपु तथा हिरण्याक्ष की माता दिति ने अपनी पुत्रवधू हिरण्याक्ष की पत्नी रुषाभानु सहित हिरण्यकशिपु के उपदेशों को सुना। तब उसने अपने पुत्र की मृत्यु के शोक को भुला दिया और उसने अपने मन तथा ध्यान को जीवन का असली दर्शन समझने में लगा दिया। ।। ७-२-६१ ।।
