यथाम्भसा प्रचलता तरवोऽपि चला इव । चक्षुषा भ्राम्यमाणेन दृश्यते चलतीव भूः ॥ ७-२-२३ ॥
Because of the movements of the water, the trees on the bank of a river, when reflected on the water, seem to move. Similarly, when the eyes move because of some mental derangement, the land appears to move also. ॥ 7-2-23 ॥
english translation
जल की गति के कारण नदी के तटवर्ती वृक्ष जल में प्रतिबिम्बित होकर चलते प्रतीत होते हैं। इसी प्रकार जब आँखें किसी मानसिक असंतुलन के कारण चलती रहती हैं, तो धरती (स्थल) भी घूमती प्रतीत होती है। ॥ ७-२-२३ ॥
