पुरुषेष्वपि राजेन्द्र सुपात्रं ब्राह्मणं विदुः । तपसा विद्यया तुष्ट्या धत्ते वेदं हरेस्तनुम् ।। ७-१४-४१ ‌।।

sanskrit

My dear King, of all persons a qualified brāhmaṇa must be accepted as the best within this material world because such a brāhmaṇa, by practicing austerity, Vedic studies and satisfaction, becomes the counterpart body of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. ।। 7-14-41 ।।

english translation

हे राजन्, सभी पुरुषों में सुयोग्य ब्राह्मण को इस संसार में सर्वोत्तम मानना चाहिए क्योंकि वह तपस्या, वैदिक अध्ययन तथा संतुष्टि द्वारा भगवान् का प्रतिरूप बन जाता है। ।। ७-१४-४१ ।।

puruSeSvapi rAjendra supAtraM brAhmaNaM viduH | tapasA vidyayA tuSTyA dhatte vedaM harestanum || 7-14-41 ‌||

नन्वस्य ब्राह्मणा राजन् कृष्णस्य जगदात्मनः । पुनन्तः पादरजसा त्रिलोकीं दैवतं महत् ।। ७-१४-४२ ।।

sanskrit

My dear King Yudhiṣṭhira, the brāhmaṇas, especially those engaged in preaching the glories of the Lord throughout the entire world, are recognized and worshiped by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the heart and soul of all creation. The brāhmaṇas, by their preaching, sanctify the three worlds with the dust of their lotus feet, and thus they are worshipable even for Kṛṣṇa. ।। 7-14-42 ।।

english translation

हे राजा युधिष्ठिर, ऐसे ब्राह्मण जो विशेषत: पूरे विश्व में भगवान् की महिमा के प्रचार में लगे रहते हैं, सारी सृष्टि के आत्मा भगवान् द्वारा मान्य और पूजित होते हैं। ब्राह्मण अपने प्रचार द्वारा तीनों लोकों को अपने चरणकमलों की धूलि से पवित्र बनाते हैं और इस तरह वे कृष्ण के भी पूज्य हैं। ।। ७-१४-४२ ।।

nanvasya brAhmaNA rAjan kRSNasya jagadAtmanaH | punantaH pAdarajasA trilokIM daivataM mahat || 7-14-42 ||
