एवं कामाशयं चित्तं कामानामतिसेवया । विरज्येत यथा राजन्नाग्निवत्कामबिन्दुभिः ॥ ७-११-३४ ॥
Just as drops of ghee on a fire never extinguish the fire but a flood of ghee will, similarly, overindulgence in lusty desires mitigates such desires entirely. ॥ 7-11-34 ॥
english translation
जिस प्रकार घी की एक एक बूँद डालने से अग्नि कभी नहीं बुझती अपितु घी की धारा से वह बुझ जाएगी उसी प्रकार विषयवासना में अत्यधिक लिप्त होने पर ऐसी इच्छाएँ पूरी तरह नष्ट हो जाती हैं। ॥ ७-११-३४ ॥
