वृत्तिः सङ्करजातीनां तत्तत्कुलकृता भवेत् । अचौराणामपापानामन्त्यजान्तेवसायिनाम् ॥ ७-११-३० ॥

Among the mixed classes known as saṅkara, those who are not thieves are known as antevasāyī or caṇḍālas ॥ dog-eaters॥, and they also have their hereditary customs. ॥ 7-11-30 ॥

english translation

संकर जातियों में से जो चोर नहीं होते वे अन्तेवसायी या चण्डाल (कुत्ता खाने वाले) कहलाते हैं और उनके कुल में चले आने वाले रीति-रिवाजों को होते हैं। ॥ ७-११-३० ॥
